Dún Aonghasa, Inishmore, Aran Islands

Date and time of the recording: 2nd September 2021, 12.06 pm

Aran islands are a small archipelago consisting of three islands, Inishmore, Inishmaan and Inisheer, inside Galway’s bay and reachable via a ferry leaving every morning from Doolin. In terms of geological structure, we notice strong similarities with Burren, as well as the same, incredible lunar and wild charme.
Here we are in Dún Aonghasa, on Inishmore island, a prehistoric fort dated 1st millennium B.C., overhanging the sea.
As you can notice, the wind issue here is out of control...

Ne abbiamo parlato nel nostro Podcast Ermete, puntata numero 24, che puoi ascoltare here.
